Parents of East Huntspill School PTA are a group of volunteer parents, who with the support of the school and local community raise funds for the pupils at the school.
We meet termly to plan fund raising events such as cake sales, sponsored events, fairs, race nights and more. Our volunteer team put the plans into action and hold these events mainly after school or at weekends.
All money raised goes to the pupils at the school by way of funding. The PTA fund transport for swimming, transport for outings, partial payment for outings, Year 6 Leavers gifts, Free film afternoons, BBQ lunches in June, Computer Tablets and classroom donations for the teachers to spend on activities or equipment they might not normally pay for in the school budget.
We are always looking for new members, event helpers and community support.
Our new fundraising goal is to save funds for replacing the outdoor playground equipment. We have also requested grant funding and local charity funding to help with this.
